What Entry Requirements Do I Need?

It is useful to have taken Art (GCSE or BTEC level 2) or Expressive Arts at GCSE. You will need to have achieved 4 GCSEs at A to C as this is an advanced course.

How Will I Be Assessed?

The course comprises six units of work. Two of these are externally set and moderated/assessed. Four units will be internally set and assessed

What Kind Of Person Studies This Course?

This is suitable for those who are considering a career in the creative arts. The qualification is widely recognised by Universities and Art Colleges. Successful completion of this course should provide entrance qualifications and suitable portfolio to secure direct entry to Higher Education without the need for a Foundation course. Students need to be well motivated and prepared to work independently with the support of the course tutors.

How Long Is The Course?

The course takes two years to complete and will require you to choose the subject in two option blocks.
