Sixth Form biology students, accompanied by Mrs Glew and Mr Hawley, visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster (well worth a visit at half- term).
The trip was linked directly to the A Level Specification as students need to understand biodiversity: the richness and variety of life on earth. They also need to comprehend the effects of humans on wildlife and their habitats.
Students were brought up to speed on how the park is involved in a national breeding programme preventing endangered species from becoming extinct.
